appetite back after 7 weeks

I followed the 2 weeks pre op diet and for 6 weeks post op, now at week 7 I'm eating solid food again

I'm back to my old ways although no where near to the amount I had before.

Is this normal?

You mean you are making poor choices, as far as food goes? But not eating as much as you used to? If that is the case... sure it could be normal - but it comes back to the fact that these surgeries are tools, not fixes. I have struggled with making better food choices, especially because recovering from surgery passes, and then life goes on as usual, and you CAN eat whatever you want, if you choose to. The worse you eat, the more bad food you will want. Don't get too down about it, but I think its important to be conscious about what you're choosing to eat and remember that you deserve to give your body the good things.
