Hi Donna...Welcome to LBT

26 lbs in 2 mo's is great!

If your comfortable with how you feel and your food intake than why push a fill. When you stop loosing and are able to eat more then get a fill. It's all about how you feel.

Restriction is the key with the band. Some people go for a long time before getting a fill.

I got my first fill at 6 weeks then another 8 weeks later, then one more 8 weeks after that. That was last January. That fill did me good for 6 months. You learn to feel your body...everybody different

  • 2 weeks later...

Hi Donna I just wanted to say well done with the weight loss its fantastic, if your losing weight steadily and not eating too much then I wouldn't worry about a fill for the time being.

I was banded on the 27/8/04 and have had three fills up to now but i didn't feel any lasting restriction untill after my third fill.

Helenxx.
