i had surg in nov and by the end of june i was pregnant

I had surgery April 16th, at which time I was kicked off my Spirnolactone (50mg BID!) for control of my hair growth...cause I grow a pretty nice beard/mustache combo.

I will say, since surgery, I've only had to pluck a couple hairs. Which is a big change - in the past, if I missed just a couple days of Spirnolactone, I'd have long black hairs all over in just under a week! So it appears symptoms are already improving.

Ask me again in a few months :D

Spironolactone hasn't worked for me. It was supposed to help with the acne and hair growth. I think it is because my doc put me on 25mg QD, and she said that she wouldn't raise it because if 25mg a day didn't work then a higher dosage wouldn't work??? Errrrrrr....

Some of my hair is blonde, some dark, but very course. I can't stand the feel. I pluck daily. I think the acne is worse for me. I had such clear skin. Never had acne as a teen either. I'm glad to hear that surgery helped. I'm looking at June 22, but I haven't confirmed it yet.
