Frustrated...

OK. so I went to the nutritionist last week -- and besides having lost 29 pds since surgery on June 29th he was upset about my lack of Protein shakes.

To be honest, I have purchased muscle milk, Iso-Pure, Monster Milk, powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury, pure protein, pure whey protein stack and a bunch of others and they all taste like medicine! I hate them, hate them, hate them. Now, did I mention that I hate them?

I don't mind eating a Protein Bar every now and again but my NUT said they have saturated fat which is bad for your arteries. So, I don't know what to do. I do try to have a protein at every meal. I eat lots of cheese, yogurt, Beans.. BUT, even prior to surgery I never really ate much protein (I wasn't a vegetarian) but I also didn't have a protein daily and my BLOOD COUNT was always great. The only thing I was ever deficient on was Vitamin D. My Calcium was great (even with lack of milk and yogurt in my diet) and I never took a vitamin to save my life. I am just frustrated!! ;)

Have you tried any of the bariwise products? They have bars that are 190cal low fat with 15g of protein.

Also it is very rare for a non surgical "normal" person to have trouble not getting enough protein.

Try dymatized elite thay dont really have that mediciny protied taste and there is alos isopure RTD thay are okay and come in small bottles so you dont have to spend a ton on a tub. Also before you buy any more powders get samples before the tubs even if you have to pay for the samples it is still way cheaper.

Lori--

I just called Syntrax and placed my order. They send you 13 samples for 9.99!!! It's a one time offer and a fantastic one at that! Imagine trying a different shake for almost 2 weeks!!! I'm excited.

The number is 1-866-333-7403.

Good luck and keep up saying goodbye to those lbs., you're doing great!

Lovingly,

I just placed my order too!! Can't wait!! Yes, I am very happy with my sleeve. Every now and again I get on a bandwagon but I know that this is the best thing that has ever happened to me. When others things in your life are not going well -- it is hard but I think this is the best decision I made in a long time....

I liked the one protein nectar I tried, so I will call and get my samples today. The name of the company kind of creeps me out though. I feel like I'm ordering from Anthrax!
