By sipping slowly.Some people can guzzle right from the beginning. I could. You have to remember that liquid is going to go right out of your tiny stomach, and not fill it up like solids do.

I am really glad someone asked about this too. When I have my surgery and this happened to me and no one told me, I would think that something was seriously wrong.

The other thing that has got me to thinking about is trying to quit drinking when I eat. This is a bad habit I am going to have to get used to so I better start now.
