Clear Liquids after fill

Hello all, I have not been on hear for some time now, as I have been busy, but it feels good to be back and read what's been going on.

So I had a fill last week and was told Clear liquids until Monday. (NO WAY) I was so hungry that night, I had to eat. And I have been eating regular foods ever since. (WHY?) I also got my period the next day, does this have anything to do with it? I feel really bad that I didn't do the clear liquids, but I just could not do it, I had no energy what so ever. I even tried to do it the next day and I had to eat something, I feel really guilty!!!!!! Anyone else experience being hungry after a fill?

Also I felt the doctor had a little trouble getting the needle into my port to inject the saline, is this normal? He didn't say anything, but maybe it was just me being nervous since it was the first fill.

Try not to stress over it too much. While its always best to follow the doctor's orders just in case, not all doctors make people stay on liquids after a fill. Mine doesn't require this, but I do try to do liquids and/or mushies for the first 48 hours after a fill, just because I've found it makes me feel better.

The first time I went for my fill, it took the doc a while to find it/get it in, but every visit since then has been heaps easier. Usually in and out of the office within five minutes or so...

Yes clear liquids until Monday, Full on Tuesday, Mushy on Wednesday and Thursday and Regular on Friday. But considering I am already on regular, I guess I am OK. I did take it easy the first two days, I had things like cottage cheese and mashed potatoes, today I had a grilled cheese sandwich and two bites of my husbands chicken cheese steak (YUCK) it didn't feel too good either. I will still try to take it easy until the end of the week, and then I will get back to my salads and such.

Thanks for the info.
