Reflux & esophageal spasms

Hi! I generally like to go it alone and have been doing generally well with my LAP-Band (down 45 lbs since April). I had some adjustment problems recently where I wasn't losing as much as my physician and I would like. So last week I had the fluid measured and it looked to my doctor's colleague in the practice like I was somehow missing 2 ccs. So he put in 1 cc (!) and all hell has broken lose. After not being able to swallow my own saliva the first day (water, yes; saliva, no) they took out 0.4 ccs. But now I have non-stop reflux which I've never had before in my life and this weird throat spasm that feels like it starts in my chest. After googling for about an hour, the description for esophageal spasms seems to fit. The spasms have nothing to do with eating. They just occur about once every 15-30 minutes. I'm wondering if taking another 0.2 ccs out might relieve this. I don't want to take out a lot since I want to start losing again. Any advice would be appreciated.
