Was anyone able to get Lap-Band surgery approval when their company had an exclusion policy? I have Cigna Insurance, and I am from St. Louis, Missouri.

Theresa, what exactly do you mean by "an exclusion policy"? Were you told there was an exclusion *in* your policy? You should find your contract and read the fine print. Many insurance plans exclude treatment for obesity, but go on to say "except when medically necessary in the treatment of morbid obesity."

That is exactly what I found in my policy. Weight Loss Surgery is listed in the exclusion area, but is also listed in the coverage area for people with morbid obesity (I hate that term "morbid"!).
