My skin by my port is really swollen and very sore. How long does this last? I'm one week post op.

For me it was only about a week and a half from what I recall, most of that pain came when I tried laying on my side. I am a side sleeper and my port is on the side where I lay, go figure. lol. Anyway, I put a pillow half under my ribs on that side and it helped. Other than that, mine subsided after that week and a half or so...Hope it passes for you soon.
