Hello Everyone

Hi. I'm Katie (as you prbably guessed from my display name. Lol). I'm 20 years old, and a full-time college student studying music. I was born and raised in Northern Illinois, and have lived there my entire life. I was banded on Monday, January 3, 2011. I honestly wish that I had found this place earlier. I have an awesome support system at home, but it would have been cool to hear about everyone's stories. You all inspire me .So, I hope to get to know everyone better, and I'm glad to have a place to talk to people about what I'm going through where people will understand me, because they've been there too. I'm going to look around here a bit more now, and start talking to people .

Welcome!

I love music too! What is your instrument?

You're new to the band; how are you doing so far? It can be tough starting out because you have all the hopes for weight loss, yet the band isn't really working until you have several fills in you. Good luck in keeping your patience though this tough period. (but musicians are patient people, right?) Are you in Chicago? Great city. My sister used to live there. A bit too much snow and cold in the winter though...Try to get some indoor exercise! :) I have twin daughters about your age; the world is at your doorstep! I'm four years out and maintaining five pounds from my goal. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Best of luck on your journey!
