Pre Op Diet questions

Hey there!! I'm scheduled for surgery November 13th. My question is if any of you are doing a pre op diet? My surgeon only wants me to be Clear liquids 24 hours prior to surgery. I've heard about others doing a week or 2 week diet prior to surgery. I've heard people doing just liquid diet, others doing low carb diet, and what I'm wondering what do you guys do.

I'm thinking about doing the liquid diet on the 8th. -- That gives me 6 days of a liquid diet.

What are you guys doing?
