Burning sensation around breast bone?

I have had the band for more than 12 months and done pretty well but over the last couple of months beginning to experience what seems like heartburn, only lasts for a few minutes at most but the area it covers (around the breast bone) is gradully increasing. It started at about the size of the width of a pencil. It happens at any time, while eating or not. I had a hiatus heria fixed at the time of the op. Has anyone else experienced something similar? Sounds like something you need to talk to your surgeon about. Some people get heartburn after WLS but burning can be caused by other things too.
