Lap band info

Hi!

I am new to this site and have some questions that hopefully someone can answer for me.

I live in Charleston and I am seriously considering Lap Band surgery.

My questions are as follows:

I am disabled. I have a artificial heart valve. As far as people that have had this surgery, how does this change one's lifestyle pros and cons? Are there many people who have trouble after the surgery and is it reversible if need be???

Payment............. I am on Medicare, Medicaid (meds) and WV State Welfare (I am divorced and live alone.) Will any of these pay for it or any part of it?????

If anyone can help I would be most appreciative. Thank you.
