Hi I have to have my band removed after 8 years. My doctor told me that he doesn’t replace the band. That it never stays put because of the scar tissue. He recommended the sleeve for me. I don’t think I want to get the sleeve. My band slipped up to my Esophagus I have been suffering for a year with this. My belly button area is hurting and I am bloating. What symptoms did you have with the infection?

My band was removed due to pain and reflux. I do not want another band. I will be getting gastric bypass.
