I'm so excited I got my surgery date...July 21st!!! So I will start my liquid diet on July 7th. I'm so excited. Any suggestions??

SEEMS LIKE JULY 3RD IS SO POPULAR LOL DAY AFTER MY BIRTHDAY !!!!

Just found out today mine is July 10th! In my directions binder, I only have a 2 day prior liquid diet. I'm curious as to why everyone else's seems to be longer?

Mine is light breakfast day before then liquids up until like 2 hrs before surgery. I know a lot of people have to go on liquids longer if they are extremely obese or have been moderately obese for a long time because they probably have an enlarged liver. The liquids shrink the liver. So I'd guess some places just tell everyone go on liquids for a set period of time

I wad told that the insurance company wants to see that you are able to lose weight under medically supervised classes that would make it more likely to stick the changes needed after surgery.

When do you start pre-op diet. I was told to pick mine up on the six. That's the day before my ten year anniversary . I am hoping they will let me start on the 8th
