Today was my orientation with Kaiser. Tomorrow is my appointment with my surgeon and dietician. I excited to get a goal to work towards. There's so many reasons I want to do this. I'm 32 years old and my knees hurt when I walk up a flight of stairs! I want to be able to chase my son around and play with him. I do want another child down the road but only after I've lost my weight. I want to be able to cross my legs and ride my bike in Monterey without feeling like I'm dying! I even want to be able to wear nylons again! And wear pretty shoes. I'm hoping it's a quick process but if not I'm committed to the process. So far kaiser has been excellent!
