Kaiser SoCal

Hey there! I have been scoping out these forms for quite some time now! I have been researching for a few months making sure this is something I want to do... and it is. Not for vanity reasons (but lets be real... nice perk), but because I don't want diabetes, I don't want to hurt every time I walk, I want to be able to breathe like a normal person, I don't want high blood pressure... the list goes on and on. I just moved to SoCal for employment reasons and my insurance with Kaiser doesn't kick in until Feb 1st. Does anyone know if I have to be a Kaiser member for x amount of time before I can even start the process? My insurance does cover it per the paperwork I filled out at new hire orientation... however when I call Kaiser, they can't assist me until I'm actually a member... which is in a few days. Thought I'd say hi, get this party started, and ask my question all at once :) Thanks in advance!
