Had my consultation

I had my consultation with the doctor who will doing my lapband today. He seemed very nice and everything is a go. I don't need any test run and as soon as my insurance approves the procedure I will be on my way. I am shooting for November 1st. I am really excited! I can't wait! I've read on here that some people were put on pre op diets but he said that I don't need to be on one. Please tell me your suggestions about this. Thanks!

Vanessa

Congrats! Sounds like you are on your way to bandland!! My doc said I didn't need to go on a pre-op diet before the surgery either, although the nutritionist recommended I do low-carb for two weeks before the surgery. I wasn't positive that I had to, but I decided to do it anyway, since I've been doing low-carb on and off for the past three years of my life anyway. Anyway, let us know how everything goes!
