So today is day 1 of 14 on the preop liquid diet. I'm starting to get nervous but also really excited! Encouraging words and any advice is greatly welcomed!

You can do this! Drink more crystal light flavored Water. Drink more stained broth or stocked based soup! You can do this!

Megan, I'm right there with you. I start my pre-op diet tomorrow and I'm nervous as all get out about it! We can do this though, I'm so glad I found this website today I've found the forums to be very helpful!

We are on the same track then! My surgery is also Sept 12! The detox from carbs is what is killing me. I feel like I'm hung over. Dull headache and I can barely choke all of my shakes down. Hopefully tomorrow won't be this bad
