How long does it usually take the surgical coordinator to submit your information after its all been documented?

Well I finally got the phone call from my ins. I am approved. Only took 3 days to approve after 3 months of not getting my information. Turns out my insurance changed their submitting method and fax phone number for their Humanna HMO customers without letting anyone know. Coordinator at dr had been sending info as usual but it was hanging out in nowhere land. Now to see the NUT and get a surgery date.

Finally got my call! I'm approved! Say what? Yup! I'm approved. Thank you everyone for all the support.

My file was completed on 1/8. The submission to the insurance company did not take place until the last week of Feb. Insurance company approved in less than a week. Its a waiting game for sure.
