insurance

Hello everyone! This in my first post. I'm very excited about the possibility of getting a lap band.

Last week I went to a seminar givin by Dr. Chua and I have an appt. this Friday to see the nutritionist and the psychologist.

When I checked with my Insurance they said that they do cover bariatric surgery however someone at Dr. Chua's office said that my insurance ( WPS ) will not cover the Lap Band because they consider is experimental. I would really rather have the lap band insted of getting a bypass. Does anyone have WPS insurance that has the lap band?:phanvan
