Pre, Pre OP anexiety!

:confused:I am seriously considering this surgery as I am inpatiently waiting for my initial packet to arrive.

I would like some suggestions/stories from anyone who can explain the pre-op time from ariving at the hospital, to the OR table... I work in healthcare and should be comfortable...but I am not. I have never had general anesthesia...This is the only part of the whole package that totally freaks me out!

Has anyone recieved conscious sedation prior to being wheeled into the OR?
