Self-Pay Price 4 Surgery - HELP!

Can anyone share the self-pay price for lapband surgery in NC or a reasonable location elsewhere in US only?

I have seen many surgery prices over $16k and that scares me...paying out of pocket is tough enough - especially at that price.
