About to be banned!

Hey! I have read quiet a few of the post on here as I was researching Lap Band. There are so many inspirational stories! You all have definitely helped me in making my decision to get the procedure done. So- On May 6, I go in for my initial consultation. Because I am paying out of pocket, the finance guy said I would be put on the "Fast tract" and have my surgery within 10 days of my first visit. The day of my appointment, I am going to get a private seminar, and teaching classes to go over the diet, and make sure Lap Band is right for me. I am very excited about all of this, and at the same time, slightly nervous. I think I am more nervous that losing weight is going to change my personality too much, than I am of the actual surgery. I am afraid that the person I am now, isn't going to like the person I am going to become (if that makes any sense at all) I know it is going to change me. I want it to- But not to the point that I wouldn't recognise myself (personality wise) It kind-of has me worried. I have a friend that promises to keep me in check on that though! Lol- No big heads allowed! Ha ha-

So anyhow- If everything goes alright and as planned, I will "Be banned" in less than a month. I know it's going to be hard work, but it is hard work I am ready for.

Thank you all for your awesome stories. Hopefully, I will have one to add to the mix in a year or so!!
