Dr. Snow's LapBand Diet

For 5 days pre-op and 1-2 weeks post-op (thick past consistency)

sugar free Jello

Sugar free popsicles

liquid from clear Soup (strain Soups like Chunky Cambell's) chicken Noodle, or Beef Vegetable

Anything that you can put in a blender as long as it is not lumpy, bumpy, or chunky is very important in the intial post-op period

Start Protein shakes or Protein drinks now. Drink small amounts throughout the day. Begin taking Flintstones Childresn chewable Vitamins (2 a day)

Pre-op: Eat as often as needed

Post op: 3 times a day 1/2 cup = 4 oz. each meal.

I have done several yummy things...Chicken salas blended with small amount of chicken broth.

Added Protein powder to some yummy baby food

Tortilla soup blended is awesome

I started Saturday and I am already down 8 lbs... It must be working.

My surgery is scheduled for Thursday...Then the fun really starts..

Hope you find this helpful.
