  1. I've lost 50 lbs and a bad attitude, haha
  2. haha, I know...I know... I was with a friend that wanted to go through McDonalds drive thru, so while he was scarfing down his meal he offered me a nugget. I tried a bite of one....and let me tell you...what a mistake that was! felt like a golf ball in my throat and hurt bad! I think everyone tests the waters at somepoint, and that was my first "what did I just do" moment.
  3. Sounds a bit extreme, but everyones different. Don't try to eat a McDonalds chicken nugget less than 3 weeks post op!!! That was my first stuck expirence!.
  4. I had my first fill (5cc) a few days ago and felt the restriction right away. After a few days now it's not as bad but definetly better than the standard 2.5 cc I had in there from Surgery. 7.5 cc is working for me pretty good right now. I noticed my hunger subsiding thankfully. Have you been drinking lots of Water? Did they tell you how many cc's were in the band before you got your fill?
  5. I just had my first fill a few days ago on Monday. I was on liquids the rest of the day and the following day. Now I'm back to normal food, but eating cautiously. I had 5 cc put in my realize band can really feel the difference!
  6. Good luck with your 1st Fill! I had my first fill (5cc's) a few hours ago!!!
  7. Hi Jes, I'm also in Washington State. Had my surgery 3 weeks ago by Jeffery Hunting in Federal Way. Congrats on the weight loss!!
  8. Congrats, I'm hoping for the same results with less fills! My first fill is a week away! FYI, your font is hard to read, you may want to consider changing it
  9. My surgeon was Dr. Jeffery Hunter in Federaly Way - Virgina Mason. That is where I will be getting my fills.
  10. I got the same comment from a nurse on my surgery day! I got my gown on and laid up on the bed and while she was asking me my birth day and other questions she says..."Your not even big enough for this surgery" I was like um well I have high blood pressure, cholestrol, sleep apnea, etc... I generally hold my wieght well...and maybe it was because i'm a guy? who knows...
  11. I am also noticing I can eat more the last few days and get hungry quicker.. I have my first fill coming up on the June 6th. I guess this will be my bandster hell for the next few weeks.
  12. Congrats! There is nothing like those "thin" feels and the compliments always feels good!
  13. This is what I had last Sat on Day 10 of Post Op: Breakfast: 20 oz Protien shake (Protien Wheat Isolate) - from costco Snack: 1 sugar free Jello Lunch: Wendy's small chilli Dinner: Cup of gourmey chicken enchalata Soup from Safeway Snack: Bannana Drank 2 16 oz of bottle Water throught the day.
  14. I'm Post Op on Day 12 and have something similar. It's where my port is on my stomach on left side.. Kinda hard and does cause a little bit of pain from time to time. It's harder in the morning like my band is tighter. I think I'm just not completly healed and may still be swolen. When I'm full it's also harder. I just had my followup appointment with my surgeon last Friday and everything looks okay.
