BetterthanIwasb4 got a reaction from mesaucedo in How Long After Surgery Before You Felt Good?I had such a bad time in the recovery room after surgery, but felt great the next day....to the point I was wondering if they really did the surgery on me lol other than being a lil weak occasionally I had no issues!

BetterthanIwasb4 reacted to thebionicbroad in Post-Op Vitamins & Weight LossThe part of the stomach that makes intrinsic factor, which allows us to absorb vitamin B-12 from food, is the part removed doing the sleeve. The part of the stomach that allows us to absorb calcium is greatly reduced. On top of that, we are eating much less food, so we are getting fewer nutrients from what little we eat. The vitamins aren't for weight loss; they are for life!

BetterthanIwasb4 reacted to christin in 30 Pounds GoneCongratulations! I'm 2 weeks post op and almost 12 lbs down since surgery. Glad to be headed in the other direction with my weight. Would love to be at the 30 lb mark like you in 3 more weeks.. that is a great loss!
