My name is Desiree and I am a food writer who had VSG in October. One of the things I decided to do was start a column about my weight loss that tracked me from the pre-operative diet to the end of my first year. Specifically, I will cover my journey through weight loss surgery; making lifestyle changes; using foodie skills to create delicious recipes; and tips for eating out successfully.

I would love it if you would follow my column and provide any feedback. The column is entitled Losing It! and the address is http://goodeatslocal.com/the-beginning/
