I was wondering if anyone had Dr. Oldham do their surgery?

I'm working with his bariatric group right now and I'm impressed with him. He's very patient and answers any questions. He has a very calm demeanor and he doesn't talk down to you like some doctors.

Cons- You have to call and stay on top of the office staff all the time. AS a patient I shouldn't have to tell them to do there job. I had my last physician diet appointment last Friday and assumed they sent everything to insurance because my doctor faxes it to them the same day. They did not. This is very important to me because I have disability for chronic daily back pain and losing weight will help it. So now I have to wait until tomorrow for the nurse to send in my preauthorization. Apparently it's hard for someone else to fax a few papers and call insurance on the phone. I've worked in healthcare and it doesn't take more than 20 minutes.
Every time I call the secretary has to know why I'm calling the person. It's annoying and not needed. I will be telling Dr. Oldham about these complaints during our office visit.
