Hi there. I am 2.5 weeks out and today I feel like I am coming down with a cold. Tonight I have been coughing a lot. What cold medicines can I take? My go to's pre surgery were mucinex and day quill/ nyquill. I really don't need this. I just started a new job and have lots of training to go to in the coming weeks. I can't be taking off to go to the doctor!!! I usually never get sick in the summer so I wonder if the sleeve is compromising my health already...boo. I have been good with taking my vitamins...

I got a virus two days after I came home from the hospital. The nurse at the office told me I could take Dayquil liquid or gel caps. I did the gel caps and it worked fine. They did make me feel full.

So sorry for you! Ask your NUT about this, but I used liquid mucinex, and liquid Tylenol when I had a cold right after surgery. It was okayed by my team, but all of us are different, so ASK!
