I have a dear friend who has had diabetes for 30 years, she is now 55. She is on work disability due to the damage
it has done. She now has Gastroparesis (delayed gastric emptying) and has steadily been gaining weight.
Her Dr. wants to look into WLS. She believes the diabetes has done to much damage and WLS surgery would not help.
Has anyone out there been in this situation and had WLS?
