Hey all.. im 28 weeks pregnant. had a unfill 3 weeks ago and have put on 3 kg (6.6lb) i was 109.9kg(242.2lb) when i first got pregnant, got down to 105kg (231.4lb) im in australia and they like to compleatly unfill u at 6 months i wish i had a little bit more in my band than nothing as i dont wanna undo all the hard work i have done... before banding i was 136kg (299.8lb) so have lost a bit before falling pregnant..

  3. hey guys just thought id update.. pregnancy is going great im halfway there.. also still loosing weight am now down to 104 have not been at this size in so long.

Hi guys its been awhile since i posted well its been a whole year since i was banded i cant believe that the time has flown by although its been slow going sometimes with weight loss losing little by little is better that putting it on... i have not long found out im 8 weeks pregnant just when you get to know all you can know about the band and feel confident that every thing is normal. i fall pregnant and now have to learn about pregnancy and the band although i am very very excited im a little scared 2.. i am lucky to have a great GP who has treated another woman that has had the band and been pregnant so im happy that she knows exactly what im going through..:w00t: well guys thanks for reading this and hope you all have a great journey and success like i am so far having.

  7. i was on the waiting list with Dr nottle for 12 months and was told there would be another 12 month wait so i decided to self pay.. that was back in October so maybe its changed since then
  8. is this the very first time you have had a op.. maybe your pain tolerance is very low...
  9. omg you are so right no wonder the bears put on weight for winter
  10. try brushing your teeth after you have your up and go or a mouth wash.. i don't have any problem with milk so im just suggesting these things
  11. I have a new one that happened today you know you have lost weight when one of your relative walk strait past you in the street until you call out there name... also could be the new hair cut lol

  14. i could eat anything i wanted in the time before my fill and some after my first fill.. that is why you go back for regular fills and check ups i not have 3 ml in my band and have some restriction but will need some more fill.. its different for every one so no fill is the same for each person. im looking forward to hit the sweet spot...
  15. i was worried about getting a fill after my op but my scars arnt where my port is. so not sure if every one is the same.
  16. i have also hurd that vitamin e but alot say there isnt much that any vitamin or creams will do...
  17. get your work mate to come with you for a littlle chat.. make her feel like you do... 2 against 1 should work but be carefull as she may turn it around onto you if it gets outta hand....
  18. usualy hospital stay is only 1 night but depend on your recovery and if they get to it with key hole

Thanks for all the idea's ... im not sure running yet is a option but im hoping in the future it will be... my kids start school tomorrow. so im gonna walk them to school instead of driving them so that is my start point.. also going to get my old treadmill out and a few Other things in the Garage collecting dust..

Thanks for your reply. i am thinking of going and signing up for water aerobics or something like that..i live 40 Min's from our nearest gym and really need to think about committing to the drive... its great to see that your getting good comments from the public in a place that fitness counts.. i guess its true about the 1 steep at a time.. seems like sometimes you make a step forward only to go 2 back but thats life i guess.. takecare Kaylene
  21. well i have lost 18kg and have done very little exercise im ashamed :biggrin: of the fact i just cant get into a routine.. does anyone else have this problem my kids go back to school on tuesday and before the finished last year i had started to walk them to school but have done very little since.. i meen i have gone away and been walking lots then even went kayaking a few times but in the last week or so have not even thought about it... I also are in a need of a fill as i can eat more than i should and am getting hungy quicker so im looking forward to a fill.. i go back on the 6th feb... any how just thought id vent a bit goodluck to all of you Kaylene:confused:
  22. i was banded on the 19th of october. so i wish you all the luck.. its great to see a few guys now getting the band welldone for taking the first step to a new you... for every one i think christmas is going to be the hardest.. i have been ok aint lost much in the last few weeks so im looking forward to a fill in feb...
