  5. I lost 140 pounds with my surgery and then became severely anemic needing hospitalization. During this time I was not able to exercise and was too lethargic to really care about much, so I regained about 20 pounds. I went to see my weight management clinic physician and she prescribed me phentermine to "kick start" my weight loss. I've only been on it a month and I started with the very lowest dosage (15mg). I haven't had any negative side effects at all and have lost 7 pounds. I actually have my monthly check in with her and will likely increase dosage to 30mg since I've tolerated the lower dosage well.

I never in a million years thought I would have a "bikini pics" album! This body is far from perfect, but I wear my "scars" of saggy legs proudly to mark the amazing journey of loss that I've been on!

  8. That is awesome! Congrats! That is also the beauty of the sleeve. It's always there, it's just all in how we use it. Good job!
  9. How long after surgery did you hit your goal weight? Did you work out lot? I hit my first goal around 10 months post op and then felt like I could keep going pretty easily, so I lost another 15 or so pounds after that. I started running around 4 months post op (wish I would have started sooner) and I continued to be an avid runner throughout the process.
  10. Your hubby is a hotty! You guys look great together Lol. Thank you :-)
  11. Wow!! You are truly inspiring! ! Thank you! I appreciate it!
  12. Here are a couple of mine as I'm coming up on my 2 year surgiversary this week. My highest weight in these pictures was 278.4 and my "after picture" weight here is 128. It's been an amazing 2 years and I'm happy to say that I have reached maintenance now. :-) I have lots more pictures and info on my journey in my blog (linked in my signature) if you are interested.
  13. Here is a recent one for me. Starting weight 278.4, after picture weight 128. What an amazing journey it's been. I'm coming up on 2 years post op this week. I have more pics in my blog (linked in my signature) if you're interested.
  14. Thank you! I appreciate it! If you're interested, there's lots more pics on my blog. :-)
  15. Thank you! I started out at a size 18/20 and I am now a size 2. Never would have thought that possible. I lost quite quickly, reaching my initial goal of 145 in 10 months. Since then (I'm now 22 months post op) I've lost an additional 16 pounds, putting me at a "dream goal". But those last 15 pounds took quite a while to get off, probably because I wasn't really trying to actively lose at that point. This seems to be where my body has settled. Good luck to you!
  16. how long between the before and after pics? The before pictures are the night before surgery. The after are this week, 20 months post op (2 months post tummy tuck) Thanks!!!
  17. here are my 2 most recent. The first is a face comparison just because I think it's pretty crazy. And the other is from yesterday when I went out in the FRONT yard with my kiddos to soak up some vitimin D in my bikini top and my running skirt. I wasn't brave enough to go full bikini, but hey! It's still progress!!
  18. Here are two of my newest One is face...I just feel like I look completely different. the other is from soaking in some vitimin d in the FRONT yard yesterday while my kids played. I didn't want to scare the neighborhood with the full bikini (lol) so I wore my running skirt with a bikini top, but it was so awesome to feel like I could go layout in my front yard without being mortified. :-)
