Glad to hear surgery went well, I hear the n/v is bad after surgery. That's something I'm not looking forward to. I do hear it gets better. Walk, walk, walk is what everyone says. I hope you start feeling better soon. We will be praying for you. I'm a firm believer that if he brought you to it he will bring you through it. The good thing is you are remaining positive.

Liza. I am on the two meal replacement diet, and I cheated too!!! Almost everyone I have spoken to has cheated! I am at my moms, and she's in the kitchen cooking bacon and homemade muffins! I want some so bad but I'm not going to do it! I may have an egg though, and skip my cottage cheese and fruit! Its harder than I thought!!! And I thought I was really prepared and psyched up to do this! Its hard to change over night ya know! Don't beat yourself up, just start over and keep on going! Won't be long now!! My surgery is July 10th! So ready!!!

All I want to say is that if you have done your pre-op diet and followed it to the letter and lost weight Hooray for you!!! That is fantastic!! However, don't look down on people who are struggling! We are all in the same boat, and have, if not this time, then on some other diet, cheated! no one is perfect! The ONLY time you should look down on someone, is if you are leaning down to help them back up! We should cheer eachother on, encourage eachother, etc. But do not chastize!!! I am not naming any names, but I have seen negative comments on this site! We're all on this site to get help and support from people who are just like us! Please be kind people! Thank you!!

I'm on day 5 and wanted regular food soooooooooo bad... my doctor strictly warned me not to cheat..but I did with some crackers and cheese...ugh I feel guilty but I'm still hungry! I keep telling myself the end will b worth it... but it's friggin hard

Ladies! I was in your shows less that 3 weeks ago and let me tell you! I was miserable!!! I even considered cancelling because the pre-op was so dang hard. I survived by adding Mio to my water and eating SF jello to trick my brain into thinking I was eating. I even froze it to have "ice cream". No one said this would be easy and how dare the nay-sayers say we took the easy way out! Be proud and be good! It will pay off!!!

Surgery went well today, in my room and recovering well. There are actual 10 patients fir my doctor on this floor today. Thanks for all your well wishes today and I hope all went well with my other sleevers today. Thinking of all my sleevers tomorrow, I will be thinking of you guys.

I am tenatively scheduled for July 10th pending insurance approval. Add me to the calendar.

I want to proudly state that im the big 26. LOL. Not many 20 somethings have the sleeve ive noticied. But its okay, we are trendsetters.....

thats so great! definitely ask if your pcp diet will count towards it! at first i only told my boyfriend, family and best friend but i told myself that everyone i know knows im overweight so why not tell them how im going to get rid of it its all a matter of preference and some prefer to keep it to themselves and i completely understand. besides this is for you and your health i havent met with the heart doctor yet but im calling my bariatric coordinator to see if thats next..the psychological eval was a breeze..in and out in less than an hour lol but i personally think i want to regularly see her so that i can get some issues of my chest and see if there was an underlying issue behind it all ya know.. anyway enough about me! LOL good luck to you and your best friend too! its always great to have someone close go thru it with you

I was approved 5/7 and was just told that all I'm waiting for is to set up my actual preop visit, scope, and surgery date!!! I'm so excited!!!!!
