Hi VST friends, please give me a list of things anyone might think I will need to start my diet... I go to the doctor tomorrow and when I come home I will need to measure food and I have never done that...lol or maybe what did anyone bought to prepare for post op... Thanx

Yes I had a catheter they took it out when I was release from the hospital and the drain is still in I got sleeved on 07/06/12 5 days ago and i go to get it remove tomorrow and removing the catheter hurt a little ...

true a call wont hurt but im sure ur fine... lol wait till u get those gas pain ... i had to take a Dulcolax a suppository and then i felt better but that 2nd day i could not even sleep do a lot of walking too.. 5 days post-op... and feeling better every day!

Yes is normal...I had that too don't freak out they cut ur stomach so some people have bloody mucus in there and it has to come out. I spit out blood That entire day after surgery, it wasn't a lot just little every time, but if your think your vomiting to much yes call your doctor...

I get my drain remove tomorrow , I didn't have any difficulties but I got one anyway... Thanks for the info about the drain ill make sure I take my pain meds before I Go...lol

My Doctor's appt is tomorrow I wonder should I get on the scale or be surprise tomorrow .? I do not want to get obsessive w/Mr. Scale "uhg" So confused 5days post-op. Can anyone shed some light, tell me how does everyone feel about Mr. Scale?

Thanx four the tip guys, (Tina) I had my GVS done @ RWJH and my nurse sucked, Maybe thats Y she didnt check, but my surgeon requested X-rays to see the fluid go down.The next day a visiting nurse came to see me and I have been improving since. Walking did help and tomorrow I see my Doc/ and begin phase two cannot wait wanna try something other then liquids...

Hi everyone, As u know it's my 2nd day post-op (surgery was 7/6/12) IM having a lot of difficulty w/ gas pain along with i feelling like everything i drink lingers in my throat:( What can i do?
