  1. I haven't met Dr. Cahn yet, but have met Dr. Bryan Anderson, also working out of St. Al's. How did you choose the doctor for your surgery? Did you have insurance that covered the cost? I'm in the research stage of this journey and started refinancing my house in order to cover the expense. I welcome your perspective.
  2. Just found this site and can see that it will provide a wealth of information. I have been thinking about the Lap Band surgery for several years and finally attended a seminar in November. Unfortunately, I am told by my employer's benefits person that our insurance doesn't cover this surgery. I'm actually considering going ahead without insurance. I haven't begun any of the process. I'm still in the decision-making stage. I'd love to hear from anyone who had surgery done in Idaho and/or anyone who paid for the surgery without insurance. Thanks! 2Curious
