  1. I've been to disney several times since being banded however I always had the free dining plan..
  2. Hi All!! I've been banded since 4/08 and my last fill was in August. I have 5cc in my 10cc band. Recently I've been experiencing reflux at night, it’s not every night, but it happens at least once or twice a week (yuck). I’m currently on Omeprazole, which I take daily and I take a Pepcid AC before I go to bed just as a precaution. Called my dr today and I’m waiting for a call back. I have great restriction and I can’t even recall the last time I pb’d. Why after all this time would I start having this reflux? Some days with the band, I feel tighter but we all have those types of days. I just want the reflux to go away.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>
  3. I have a dr. appt on thursday b/c I really cant take the pressure in my chest. everytime I drink something it just sits and then I can feel it trickle down or I'm burping and a little comes up. When I go to bed at night I cannot drink anything prior b/c again it just comes back up. I never had this pressure before and I dont want it now. God I hope everything is okay.. I just had the Upper Gi last week and he said everything was fine..what else could it be??
  4. So I’ve been banded since April 08 and lost 65 pounds. My last fill was in August, I have 5cc in a 10cc band. My restriction has always been moderate but in the last month, I’ve gone to being really restricted. At times, I used to be able to eat a 1 cup of food I’m lucky to get in ½ of that and then I’m full. I went last week to get an Upper GI and the doctor said everything looks good. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this strange phenomenon of not being restricted to being restricted without getting a fill.
  5. I contacted my dr this morning and I'm scheduled for an upper gi swallow on wednesday morning, I'm hoping all will go well. My dr just believes that its a bad case of heartburn b/c everything that I eat burns while going down and after several hours I still bring up what I ate. I have no issues while sleeping and have no pain in my band or port area. I've also lost 5 pounds in the last several days from not eating mostly on mushy and liquids and honestly who wants to eat if it hurts. I'll keep you posted on my results.
  6. Okay.. I thought that maybe I was just a little tight as I usally am at certain times. however, everytime I try and eat it just burns?? I thought that it might be heartburn/acid reflux but I'm not sure. I'm also burping a lot and yes sometimes I burp what I had just eaten (sorry to be gross). Tomorrow is a holiday but I'm hoping my doc has hours.. I thought it was just me but I really think something might be wrong. Oh and I'v been banded since april 08 and my last fill was in august, so really nothing has changed.
  7. Hi Folks... It’s been a while since I've posted I used to be known as jamd... Anyway, I was banded on 4/30/08 and I’ve lost a total of 60lbs so far (YIPPEE) but I have this problem and I was wondering if any other female had this issue. Every month when it gets closer to that TOM I get so tight that I’m lucky to even eat half a yogurt at breakfast and ½ cup of soup at lunch after that I’m not hungry and I really have to remind myself to eat. I feel so tight but I know why, so does anyone else have this problem and do you have any tips or tricks that you can share?<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>
