I'm out for September. [emoji24] In the beginning of the month I got diagnosed with covid, bronchitis and pneumonia. I have been on oxygen for a while so my lungs are shot and the surgery is canceled until further notice. I guess it's just not my time yet. I wish you all the very best in your journey!!!! Hi! My name is Kayla and I am 30, 5'0 and cw is 220 my surgery is scheduled for 9/7 in San Antonio, TX. For gastric bypass. They recommended that for me because of my acid reflux. I am also a cash customer because I don't have insurance at the moment (I will once I'm married). It cost me less to do cash then it is to pay for insurance and then all the fees. I know the feeling. After I scheduled mine I couldn't eat or not feel like vomiting for days. Now when I do think about it, it hits me but not as hard. You know I'm not sure. That's all I needed for cash pay was to have the high bmi [emoji45]. I'm new too:) I got to pick my date. I was told dr. Pilcher does surgeries on Tuesdays, if you use him. He gives warnings on his videos that it gets graphic ahah I thought I could do it. Haha nope. He will check your liver during the visit to like push on the belly. You do have to watch the videos I believe there are 6 and 5 of them you can watch from home after the first one in the office which is the one they only do on Fridays. We love Texas too. I never felt at home until we moved here. [emoji3590] If you can take your first nutrition class the same day as your appointment get it done! It's a pain and only on Fridays.
