Had my surgery august 4, so far have lost 10 pounds but it’s hard to get the fluids in and protein. I’m super constipated to not sure if that’s why I can’t drink more.

Just had my surgery yesterday aug 4, been trying to get all my fluids in but it’s hard get a weird pain if I drink to much in little time. It kinda of similar pain after you’ve done a lot sit ups or crunchs.

I’m two days out things are getting real, kinda of nervous. I start my liquid diet tomorrow ?. Wednesday is the big day ?

@Mgeorge408 if you go to you kp app or online check under appointments,then go to the more tap, then it should say referral and it will show surgeon referral

I’m sorry you have to go through that. The girls at Kaiser west la have been very nice. I got my referral on a Thursday and called that Friday and left a message, ended up receiving a call couple hour shortly after with my appointment date. I think it depends on the area and how backed up they are.

I just stayed on them I’m in the Kaiser west la, I keep calling if not they forget and they’re also super busy too. And you?

@tinyhounds, I finished my class in June, finished my labs in June, have my appointment with the surgeon July 16, but they told me I won’t get my surgery date that day, did you get it when you met with your surgeon?

Meeting with my surgeon July 16 then I get a surgery date, I’m going through Kaiser WLA in so cal, so wondering how long it will be to get my surgery date. Any body in here know?

How long after the consult appointment with the surgeon did it take you to have your surgery through Kaiser?

Anybody have there appointment with their surgeon through Kaiser recently ? How long after the consult with the surgeon did you have your surgery?

I’ve taken a couple classes with Kaiser and the surgery will change your hormones. I’ve also read a lot that things you use to like or crave won’t taste the same after surgery. There’s also something called dumping syndrome caused by certain foods you eat. I haven’t had surgery but I’ve also tried to gather information before I make any decisions

How long did it take after you were done with options class and pre op appointment to meet with the surgeon and get a surgery date through Kaiser?
