Hi, I am a newbie, and am looking into getting banded by Dr Iam Baxter on the Sunshine Coast. Has anybody had any experiences with Dr Baxter or any other surgeons on the Coast? Also, i got quoted a rough price of around $12,300. I will be paying cash. Is there any cheaper surgeons around the Sunshine Coast area? I am even willing to travel to Brisbane or Gold Coast if it saves me a bit of money. Sorry for the million questions, there is so much to think about. Thanks for all your help, M

Hi everyone, I am hoping to be banded by Dr Baxter on the Sunshine Coast and was wondering if anyone has had any experiences with him? Has anyone been a low BMI patient? Also, since i dont live on the sunny coast i will have to fly there for surgery. I have read that you wont get your first fill for around 4 - 6 weeks after op. I wont be able to stay on holidays that long (oh god i wish i could) so is there any chance that the first fill could be done areound 1 week after? Sorry for the million questions guys, i have so many! hmmmmm.... i have forgotten the rest. I will just have to bombard you guys later. Thanks m:)
