I chart my loss on myfitnesspal.com. (I'm irishfanvsg on there) It is my food log too. It makes it easy to track protein as well. I started at 282. I had surgery 7/13/11 and now am 197. Lost about 85. I've been stalled for almost a month. It was recommended to me to up my calories to 1200 (was btw 800-900) and try for 100 grams of protein. I'm gonna try it. I did concentrate on my water and that has helped as well.

I have two insurances. My insurance is primary and it was 80/20. However my company insurance person said my max out of pocket was $1500. My husbands is secondary and would cover 100% but they ended up saying I didn't meet the BMI required. I could get gastric bypass paid for but I didn't want it. I ended up having my gallbladder out too. His insurance picked up the rest due to that and I never had to pay anything.

At my last appointment with my NUT they said that at Meijer I could get a prenatal (with prescription) for free each month.They wrote it and I filled it. I did use a pill cutter to split it. I get a vitamin with iron for free and it isn't nasty...it is all good.

This is very intersting to me. I have just been denied by BCBS of MI because of my BMI. It's 41. They said no because they said it was too low. What did you have to do for the appeal? I too have a diagnosis of high blood pressure. I will have to call my coordinator tomorrow. BCBS is my secondary. My primary said yes but it is 80/20 but my out of pocket is $1500.
