  1. My lap band surgery was July 12, 2012. Today is July 23, 2012. My starting weight was 264. I now weigh 252. My goal weight is 135 lbs. I am still sore in my stomach area. I get tired easily. I am off work until August 7, 2012. I have alot of lifting on my job. I go for my first fill on August 13, 2012. I'm still healing, but I think I am doing pretty good, so far. I have so much to learn, but I look forward to it. I love this lapbandtalk.com website. I been reading so many good articles. Thanks for reading my article. I will try to answer questions or give the best advice to everyone who needs it. I will probably have some questions myself, through my lapband journey.
  2. My surgery was 7/12/12. My first fill is on 8/13/12, four weeks post op surgery. I'm on the liquid diet for 2 weeks. It is hard because I am staying hungry also. The doctor told me to drink 4 protein drinks daily instead of 3. I will be glad when I learn how to do everything right. I have lost a few pounds though. I'm happy about that anyway.
