  2. Hey there! 39 year old married father of four in Wisconsin and I'm going to have the VSG surgery in January 2011. This forum has been extremely helpful and I appreciate all of the honest opinions and everyone that has documented their experiences with the surgery. I'm 6'0" and weigh 420 lbs, with a BMI of 58...tired of all the physical pain and ready to start living a different (better) life.
