  1. I'm a type 2 diabetic and I can tell you my numbers were high pre-surgery(around 170) and even almost 3 weeks post as well. Now, I can tell you that my numbers have dropped dramatically(this morning it was 80). The thing is that I have had NO sugar of any kind and have been eating relatively healthier than I did before. I'm still on my meds, but as long as the weight stays down(I'm 20# down since my surgery just over 3 weeks ago), I should be cutting back on them soon.
