  1. Hi - I got banded the same day as you and have been experiencing the same thing. I have even "thrown-up" 3 times which was basically saliva and air. It felt awful at the time but the relief after was amazing!! The only thing I am getting down now is a weak hot cup of tea and very slowly!! Ater that my other options are drinking yoghurt and soup. I was a bit worried at first as I am not getting all my liquids/nutrients in but have decided to be kind to myself and not stress over that. I think hot things help clear the way down for me. Anyway hope that helps - I will be checking in with my surgeon on Monday when office is open. Best of luck.....Michelle
