  1. I just had my band placed on Monday. It was not so bad, however, out of all the area where I was cut, there is a pain where the port is located. This is the only area that hurts. When I touch where the port is, it is very tender. To help relieve the pain, I have place an ace bandage around my tummy. It really helps and I am able to get up and down with out actually pressing in on the port area. Is this normal in the beginning stages of post-op or should I be concerned something may be wrong. I go to the doctor on Friday. Thanks for any responses.
