  2. I am about the same. More than one treat and I'm running. I found that walking helps everything. If i eat that extra bite or just to make myself feel better.

  4. Do you like peanut butter or almond butter? I found if you get a non-flavoured protein powder and mix it with almond milk you get a less sweet protien drink. As for the meds, sorry I got nothing for that. I guess I'm lucky my meds are small so i don't have to crush.
  5. Great job Valboosky! Are you finding anything hard to deal with?

  9. Hey everyone!! Just weighed myself and I am officially down 40 pounds since I started this. Back in July I had the talk with my GP and told him enough was enough I am contacting a surgeon and getting help with my weight. At that point I weighed 254 (I'm 5'1"). Had my surgery on Nov 2nd and as of this morning I was 214.4 so 40 down, 84 more to my ultimate goal. ?
  10. You are doing amazing! Keep up the good work. I had/have the same issues with getting all my fluids in too. I find myself forcing the liquids, like keeping a water bottle everywhere I am so i sip constantly.
  11. The only one that I have been sharing meals with is my husband and he is happy to because he now calls me his cheap date (haha). As for going out with friends, I found that if I just order an appetizer then I have fewer leftovers and I can still get my own plate. I had the same situation with the weight loss, for some reason I went back and forth from 217 to 218 for a week. But finally this morning I was down to 216!

  13. Thanks, Grands. I only have about 3 more capsules from the doc so I wasn't sure what I should get to help until I see him next week.
  14. Hi Everyone, I'm about 4 weeks since surgery and so far I am having two issues that I am wondering how everyone else is handling (if you have having too). One is that I seem to be having quite a bit of heartburn. I am taking the antacid that my doc prescribed but I seem to be using Tums in between to help - how are you handling if you are having this issue. And secondly, I am having a very hard time getting all my liquids in. If I drink all the liquids my doc wants me to drink I can't seem to eat food. How are you getting all the liquids and food in?

  16. I had mine on November 2nd and so far I am ok. I had some issues that I really wasn't expecting but not too horrible.
