  1. Hi! I'm so happy for you that it's done. Hope your gas pains go away soon ... let me know how the walking helps. My surgery got postponed because I have a rash that looks like it might be a tick born issue... the doctor said if it is something from an insect or a tick that it might manifest in a negative way during the recovery process when my immunity is lower. I'm fine with that, I do NOT want to add any risk whatsoever to the surgery.

  4. So when you get released from the hospital are you able to walk semi-normally, get into the car? Stand up for any length of time? I am not sure what to expect my first day home so will be very interested to hear how your journey goes. I have an 8 year old (single mom) and I want to prepare him. I just don't know if I'll be weak and in bed or walking around the house getting my own water and chips. Keep us up to date. It's so useful to hear what one might expect so I can mentally prepare us both.

  7. Surgery on June 8. Second day of liquid diet. Not hungry, but want a glass of wine!
