ehmadore got a reaction from Coexister in December 2018 Sleevers!Yes, me. I'm 45lbs down too. I lost 16lbs on my 2 week preop so I count it! Because Lord knows I wouldn't have kept it off without surgery. I have been able to eat pretty much anything since surgery. I use MFP to track my food. I also workout regularly with lots of strength training. Being almost 6 months out now I'm nervous the weight loss is going to sloooowww even more. I will say I haven't had any serious stalls yet.

ehmadore reacted to Deblearn in December 2018 Sleevers! It looks like to me for your starting weight you are right on target. Someone gave me this to use as a guide and it’s been pretty accurate. Hopefully it’s helpful to you n

ehmadore got a reaction from Sophie7713 in December 2018 Sleevers!Thank you Sophie and Shanza! Yes, I'm feeling much better. It is very cold in Maine. Only 3 degrees this morning. I'm very excited for onderland. I'm always worrying because I feel I've always been able to eat a good amount even with surgery. I do workout in some form daily either at the gym or a walk if time is tight. I'm trying to trust the process

ehmadore reacted to Sophie7713 in December 2018 Sleevers!Hi ehmadore - WELCOME! I suspect it is quite cold in Maine right now. It would appear you are spot on with a healthy + safe weight loss pace. I am a bit shorter than you at 5' 0" and our starting weights were similar. I had my surgery 7 days after you. I currently weigh 213, walk everyday and am feeling more energized with each passing week. I'm pumped to reach Onederland maybe by early April?
I've found that taller individuals especially in the 5' 8" and up range - even at the same starting weights tend to lose faster. They have longer gaits and taller bodies in which to help burn calories. It really isn't fair to compare myself with others. It really is a personalized journey to be embraced.
I think you're doing great! Congratulations on almost 44 pounds! That's almost 50 pounds off your small frame! Quite an accomplishment, I'd say. Are you looking forward to Onederland!? Just 9 digits to go. Wow. ;]
