  1. I too interviewed with Simpson. First impressions of him were OK. He took his time answering all of my questions, but I was not completely thrilled with his dog licking my leg throught the entire interview, which he seemed oblivious to. Anyway, I interviewed two other surgeons and decided to go with the team of Dr.s Orris and De Barros. It was a much farther drive for me but they are excellent surgeons and I liked the idea of having two surgeons in my surgery with me. That gave me a deeper sense of confidence. I was banded in the end of April and have lost 32 lbs and am 1/2 way to my goal weight. One of the surgeons does the fills for you and they have an ultra sound machine so needle placement is accurate the first time. They are also quite personable and likeable. Good luck with your search for the doc or docs that are rihgt for you.
